Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Remote · Full time

We are seeking a Certified Lymphedema Therapist to join our team and support patients across East Texas through in-home, evidence-based compression therapy. This field-based role focuses on patient advocacy, provider collaboration, and hands-on care to improve outcomes for individuals with lymphedema and related conditions. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, clinically skilled, and committed to delivering a seamless and supportive patient experience.

Description
We are currently hiring a Certified Lymphedema Therapist to support our growing patient base across East Texas. The CLT plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based compression therapy to individuals with lymphedema and related conditions. This is a field-based position that involves collaboration with physicians, patients, and internal staff to ensure effective treatment and a seamless patient experience.

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary contact between referring physician offices and the Prevail Health home office
  • Coordinate collection of necessary medical documentation and signatures from providers and patients
  • Advocate for patients to ensure they receive compassionate, timely, and complete care
  • Deliver educational presentations and coordinate lunch-and-learns to increase community and provider awareness of lymphedema and Prevail services
  • Follow up with patients to gather feedback and promote satisfaction
  • Conduct patient trial runs and assist with compression garment fitting after the therapist’s initial visit
  • Collect and document pre- and post-treatment measurements
  • Ensure all paperwork is signed and returned to the appropriate internal contact
  • Adhere to HIPAA standards and maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrate service excellence through professional behavior, communication, and patient interactions

Qualifications

  • Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of lymphatic therapy, compression garments, and general vascular conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with both patients and medical providers
  • Efficient in time management and able to handle multiple appointments and tasks
  • Ability to resolve patient or provider concerns with empathy and professionalism
  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient documentation best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or as a medical assistant
  • Previous experience working with vascular, wound care, or lymphedema patients
  • Familiarity with in-home patient services or durable medical equipment (DME) coordination
